Flying Air France’s A380 Business Class

I’ve always wanted to travel around the world. The number one thing on my bucket list is to see the Eiffel Tower. It has been my dream!!! And so I told myself that as a graduation gift, I will go to Paris. Lucky enough, I had the chance to go after I graduated, with the two most important ladies in my life. As an extra bonus, we flew on an Airbus A380 aircraft in Business Class!!!

Let me share our experience on our flight to the city of love.

AIR FRANCE LOUNGE @ SFO

To officially start our much-awaited vacation, we went to the Air France-KLM Business Class Lounge. Here, we had some refreshments and a selection of snacks. I enjoyed their croissants, focaccia bread, and brownies (I love carbs!). They also have a wide variety of drinks available including an open bar and espresso machine. Being in the lounge allowed us to relax before the long flight. This lounge offers a great view of the tarmac.

When the nice lounge agent announced that our flight is boarding, we headed down to the gate.

ONBOARD THE AIRCRAFT

I cannot tell you how excited I was to be on this flight to Paris. This was my first long haul flight with a very comfortable seat. I felt really blessed!

The Airbus A380 is such a beauty! This is probably my favorite aircraft ever. The A380 is a double-decker aircraft that produces less noise when departing and landing. I love the configuration of the seats of this wide-body aircraft. The business class cabin is on the second floor. They also have a fancy snack bar which is nice for long haul flights.

Onboard, they gave us a pillow, blanket, and an amenity kit. The lie-flat seat and the meals onboard are the best part though!

ONBOARD MEALS

Airplane food never looked this good!

(Their menu changes very often so food is most likely different now, but I’m pretty sure they will still taste good)

Our appetizer…

The main entree…

…and for dessert

There were also snacks served in the middle of the flight. They also have good entertainment services on board. The Air France crew was nice and attentive.

After a good sleep, I woke up to this. Breakfast in bed!!!

JUST LANDED @ CDG

Before you know it, we landed safely in Paris’ Charles de Gaulle.

I never thought I’d say this, but I enjoyed the flight so much that I actually hoped the flight was longer.

Another good thing about flying business class is that you can utilize the Sky Priority lanes upon arrival, making the wait much shorter in customs and immigration.

Overall, it was a great experience! I look forward to flying with Air France again soon. Hopefully in Business Class again. Who knows, maybe someday I can even try their La Premiere!

That’s it for now.

Safe travels!
